How to make an appointment for the tailoring of my items?

You may make your appointment via the following methods:

Please take note that an appointment is only confirmed when you receive a confirmation reply from us.

How long does it take to tailor my items? (i.e. lead/production time from date of order)

As our items are handcrafted upon order from scratch, we typically take 2- 4 weeks; might have an expected longer period during peak season

If you have a particular date that you need your items, do let us know via WhatsApp and we can check our production schedule and advise you accordingly.

What are the prices for the tailored items?

Prices can start from as low as only 65 for Shirt, 85 for Pants and 399 for a Full Suit!

All prices stated are inclusive of the fabric and workmanship.

How long does a tailoring appointment take?

A typical appointment would take approximately 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your selection process.

Preferably in light clothing, avoid denim if possible.

What is the difference between your suit or pants categories?

Hello! For both the Classic and Premium, we have cashmere wool blend fabrics; with the Premium range having higher cashmere wool content!

Superior range are 100% pure wool fabrics.

However, as there are so many factors involving fabrics, the composition should not be the only determinant factor.

We advise you to feel the fabrics and see what colour, texture and design is of your preference.
Ultimately, personal preference plays a huge part in fabric selection.

What is the difference between your shirt categories?

Hello! It’s mainly the threadcount of the fabrics.
Basic and Classic categories are at 80-100 whereas Premium category is at 100-120.

However, as there are so many factors involving fabrics; the threadcount should not be the only determinant factor.
We advise you to feel the fabrics and see what colour, texture and design is of your preference.
Ultimately, personal preference plays a huge part in fabric selection.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, NETS, GrabPay, ShopeePay, QR payments, and the various major credit cards (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex; minimum amount applies).

Is there any bundle discount for wedding suits?

Congratulations! The discount would be dependent on the number of suits ordered.
The more items, the more discount!

Kindly advise us the number of suits you are looking at via WhatsApp and we will advise accordingly.

It’d be good if you can let us know how many individuals are there for the order too.

What is your alteration coverage?

Enjoy 30 days free adjustments coverage from your first fitting message.

Are there any referral programme?

Yes, we do! You’d be rewarded with a discount for every successful referral!

Can I order my tailored items without visiting your store?

This service is currently available for existing clients only. It is only possible if there’s no change to your body measurements. Communication would be via WhatsApp.

Does ethan men accept corporate orders?

Yes we do! We welcome corporate orders and special prices will be offered for corporate orders.

What’s the best way to create my first custom shirt or pants size?

There are 2 main ways to create your first custom shirt or pants size and they are elaborated below:

1) Schedule an appointment: Schedule an appointment with our friendly consultant who can assist you in taking your measurements and provide recommendations at no charge at all!

Kindly note that an appointment is only confirmed when we send a confirmation message to you.

2) Measure a garment: If you have a shirt or pants that fits exactly (or very closely) to what you want, you may bring it to us and we will create your menswear base on the measurements.

What is the washing instructions for my tailored items?

For both shirts and pants, if possible, flip them inside out before putting into the washing machine.
Wash in cold water with a little fabric softener if possible and use a laundry bag if you have (optional). They can be tumbled dried or hang dried, though hang drying is preferred.

Do not wash your pants immediately after every wear. Try to wear a few times between each wash to retain the colour and shape longer.

For ironing of shirts and pants, if you’re using a steam iron, put the setting in medium heat with high steam. Do not use high heat.

As for jacket and waistcoat, dry cleaning only; kindly check if your laundry service if they would steam your jacket and/or waistcoat before handing over.

If you’d like to steam your jacket and/or waistcoat but do not have a garment steamer, you may use a steam iron at low heat. Before ironing, place a damp cloth over the area you’d wish to straighten and iron over the damp cloth.
Note: It’s advised to use a garment steamer to straighten the item(s).

Will your fabrics shrink?

All our fabrics are pre-shrunk; however, marginal shrinkage might occur.

Exchanges, Alterations & Fit Warranty

As all of our menswear are custom made for you based on your measurements and submitted requirements, we will not be able to refund the paid amount. However, we would compensate you in the respective ways based on the occurrence of the below noted events:

1) Product defect: In the event that the garments do not match the order or the cut is smaller than the provided measurements (Note: Colour differences due to screen/monitor effects are not considered for replacement, fabric colours can vary between 5-10%), we will remake garments based on the changes, free-of-charge.

2) Product inconsistency: In the event that the garments were not made according to the descriptions provided, or that the garments did not fit according to your expectations; we will provide free alteration within 30 days (from the “fitting” message from us) until the expectations are met!
