You are often dressed in your dress shirt with the collar opened but somehow, your collar is looking sloppy rather than standing straight up and looking smart.
There are several things that can result in your collar looking sloppier than expected. Firstly, it could be the case that you designed a dress shirt with a small collar that is standing up but not as high as you wanted it to be. This is so as the collar points are shorter and hence a smaller collar would not be able to stand as high.
Secondly, if the dress shirt that youdesigned is with a French Front (i.e. no placket), there will be less support for the collar and thus the collar would not be able to stand as high either. A fused front placket will provide the most support for the collar and help it stand up high.
If you really wish to have collars that stand up real high without the same slipping issue as a standard collar, you may consider our button-down collars as the collar points are buttoned to the collars.
