You might have seen or heard about ply and count when it comes to fabrics.
What exactly are they? Do you know about them?
Let us share a little more with you:
Fabrics are usually either 1-ply or 2-ply.
This is the number of yarns twisted together to make a single thread. 2-ply fabrics are generally finer with a tighter weave than 1-ply fabrics.
Do you know that all of our fabrics offered at ethan men are 2-ply to provide the greatest comfort and quality. Not forgetting that they are all wrinkle-resistant and easy to care for!
The number you see on shirt fabrics (e.g. 80s, 120s, etc.) indicates the size of the thread in the fabric and therefore the number of threads per square inch.
The higher the numbers, the finer threads they are, resulting in a softer, smoother and lighter fabric.
All the fabrics you see at ethan men are carefully selected by us to have high thread counts, ensuring that your personalised items are of the utmost quality.
